can't decide if watch is new, November 25, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Tissot Men's TIST36131672 V-8 Ivory Dial Watch (Watch) The watch is very nice, as is to be expected, but there are a number of issues. 1) The watch is running when I received it, typically when I buy new watches the crown is pulled out so that the watch isn't running until it is worn by the owner. Therefore, I am not sure how long the watch battery is going to last before I have to pay out of my own pocket to replace it. 2) The watch is received without a protective sticker on the face of the watch, which is atypical for a new watch to say the least (even $50 Swatch watches come with protective sticker on the watch face to protect its bezel and crystal, and this is a $230 Tissot). 3) I am pretty sure as a result of the lack of a protective sticker, there are many scratches on the bezel, a number of chips to its rims, and a small dent. Furthermore, if the watch is "new", I have no idea how these imperfections occur without human intervention. Therefore, the supposedly "new" watch is flawed cosmetically, and I tend not to believe Tissot... Read more

Bulky yet Nice, November 30, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Tissot Men's TIST36131672 V-8 Ivory Dial Watch (Watch) When I ordered this watch, there were no reviews for this product. Then the next day I see this 1 star review and it scared me if I made a mistake ordering. Fortunately that was not the case, my watch had no issues the last customer had. It arrived well packaged and without any scars or indents like in the previous case. Neither was it running when I got it.
I would like to think that the last case was an accident... The watch is a little bulky but Great! The ivory dial makes it very readable and its very precise. The cherry on the cake would have been a clasp with the leather band... for these 2 reasons I give it 4 stars.
I have received many compliments on this one. It goes well with both informal and formal clothes. I hope this review helps. Lemme know if you guys want me to upload a pic.
