As soon as I put it on I knew it was the exact watch I was looking for. It has a decent weight that let's you know you're not wearing a ladies bracelet. The styling is simple but effective and the price isn't too bad. The only drawback, it's impossible to read the dials at night.

I wanted something slightly more rare that not everyone has one of. After doing some initial research, Tissot fit the bill. It's a Swiss brand established in 1853 and briefly even merged with Omega, thus has a long history with watch-making. The company makes quite a variety of styles, but I really liked the understated elegance of the this Tissot watch. I was somewhat reluctant to buy a watch online through Amazon without trying it on in person, but with a price-point of ~$300-400 and a great return policy of Amazon, I decided to take a chance.
