Well worth the price, December 12, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Tissot Men's T0444302605100 T-Sport PRS 516 Black Day Date Dial Watch (Watch) This is a very good time piece for the price. As others state, it's tough to find a sapphire crystal, swiss automatic watch with a nice leather deployment strap and luminated dial at this price. I ordered through amazon and it shipped free and arrived in 24 hours. I can see how the one reviewer was skeptical though. It came in the presentation box, but had no papers; not even a receipt. That did raise a flag. I called Amazon customer service and the girl explained their green initiative and assured me my order was on file for a two year Amazon warranty. I would have liked to receive something (card) to prove it was from Tissot, but since I don't plan to resell, it probably won't matter. I also called my local watch shop to see if he could verify it, but he told me this model does not normally get copied due to it's lower price point in the market. The Box looks very elegant that comes with the watch. This watch is an incredible deal for the price. You can tell right away the Swiss quality. The diamond cut looking dial that glows in the dark just looks awesome I have to admit. This watch easily looks like a watch over $1,000. I doubt these will last for long at these prices. Where else can you get a Swiss automatic mechanism for this price?
Mine arrived on Monday 1/19/2011, January 27, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Tissot Men's T0444302605100 T-Sport PRS 516 Black Day Date Dial Watch (Watch) I have worn the watch since 1/23 and it is dead on for time. To be blunt, I am shocked at the value. Automatic, Sapphire Crystal, Leather band with hideaway clasp, flawless finish, and quality night time glow. I have a Hamilton Tacimiler and an Anonimo Highdive, so I expected much less from this time peace, but that does not look to be the case. I was planning on buying the Hamilton Khaki Pilot, but to get their automatic I was going to be out another $300, and for my daily do everything watch I did not want to invest that much.
If this watch holds up like my Tissot Navigator 3000, I expect to get many years of service from it, and will probably pass it onto one of the Grandchildren, when they start to come onboard.
It would have been nice to receive some form of documentation from Amazon with the watch, but I have my order as POP.
